January 2, 2010 - "Holding Tank Maintenance when Bugging Out" By Joseph Parish. As those that follow my blog and website may be aware I am current bugging out in a travel trailer and as such I find that there are certain things that one must do on a routine basis to maintain sanitary conditions. One of these tasks is to properly drain and clean the campers holding tanks. Click here

George Orwell's 1984
December 31, 2009 - "George Orwell's 1984" Get out the popcorn kiddies, its time for a movie. This movie is about the George Orwell novel entitled 1984. Nineteen Eighty-Four was originally published in 1949 as a dystopian novel about the totalitarian regime of the Party, an oligarchic collectivist society where life in the Oceanian province of Airstrip One is a world of perpetual war, pervasive government surveillance, public mind control, and the voiding of citizens' rights. In the Ministry of Truth (Mini-true), protagonist Winston Smith is a civil servant responsible for perpetuating the Party's propaganda by revising historical records to render the Party omniscient and always correct, yet his meager existence disillusions him into rebellion against Big Brother, which leads to his arrest, torture, and conversion. Sure does sound similar to what we are heading to today under our current regime. Click here

So you got arrested
December 30, 2009 - "So you got arrested" By Joseph Parish. A glance at the local newspaper or a quick glimpse of the evening news channel will quickly reveal how we as Americans are rapidly losing our cherished freedoms. As such we can expect that the authorities may in the future begin using methods which border on intimidation in order to force us into submission. This article was meant to provide the average person with a slight insight into what your rights are if you happen to be accused of a crime. Click here

The Ant and the Grasshopper
December 28, 2009 - "The Ant and the Grasshopper" By Joseph Parish. I recently chanced across this little morsel of knowledge while browsing around the net and find it to be very entertaining. I would at this time like to share my adaptation of the Ant and the Grasshopper with my visitors. At first we will recite the original version of the Ant and the Grasshopper. Without further ado let us get to the fable. Click here
