The term self reliance refers to the practice of one being able to be totally dependent only upon themselves while possessing the necessary skills and ability to take care of themselves in any type of situation. Often new people inquire as to how they can be self sufficient and not have to rely upon the big corporations of America for their survival. To this question, I merely suggest that the ultimate self reliant status that they achieve will depend primarily upon just how much they are willing to give up.
