April 11, 2009 - "Bug out Games for Kids when on an exercise" By Joseph Parish. When assessing your Bug out procedures and you are in the process of having an actual exercise, it is always necessary to try to put ourselves into the place of our children. Let us face it we as adults can converse with each other during the trip however often times the children are stuck in the back seat of our BOV with nothing whatsoever to do. To me this is very unacceptable. Not only does it turn the children off to the concept of survival but it also does not teach them anything but contempt for emergency actions. Click here

An open letter to the media and Obama
April 10, 2009 - "An open letter to the media and Obama" By Joseph Parish. I am really overwhelmed with the reporting conducted by the media concerning Barack Obama. Here we have a head of state for a major country whose only concern is being in the headlines. You have an American president that desires for nothing apart from the glamour that being on a late night TV show can confer upon him. Click here

Your Cadbury Easter Eggs are finished
April 9, 2009 - "Your Cadbury Easter Eggs are finished" By Joseph Parish. Here it is Easter time again and which of you do not remember the famous Cadbury Crème Egg usually given to you on Easter morning. The Cadbury Chocolate Egg was originally produced by a British company known as Cadbury Schweppes. How well we all recall the thick milk chocolate outer shell and the yellow and white filling that represented yolk of a real egg. Click here
Smoke Flavoring of Meats
April 9, 2009 - "Smoke Flavoring of Meats" by Joseph Parish. There is only one true method of natural barbecuing and that is gradually cooking the food over an open flame fire. Even though this style of food preparation is slow and tiresome, it allocates for the complete saturation of the smoke into the meat. When prepared with this approach the smoke aroma is a pleasure to behold. Shockingly it is simpler to carry out then you may well expect. Click here

Survival Medicine
April 8, 2009 - "Survival Medicine" This part of your survival plan should never be overlooked. Having the right type of medicine in your first aid kit is beneficial if you get lost in the wilderness or if you are faced with the issue of surviving. Most store bought first aid kits include pain relievers such as: Advil®, Tylenol®, or other types of ibuprofen or aspirin. When you need a pain reliever, these medicines quickly relieve your suffering, depending on the degree of pain. But what if you don’t have anymore medicine and you find yourself in dire need of relief? What should you use to alleviate the pain and suffering. Click here
