January 29, 2011 - "Camping Equipment for Emergencies" By Joseph Parish. When asked by a new prepper where they could purchase their emergency survival gear I frequently direct there attention to one of our great camping supply stores in my area. Most camping equipment can for all intents and purposes double as emergency supplies if and when the situation is encountered. Click here

Possible protection from EMP
January 28, 2011 - "Possible protection from EMP" By Joseph Parish. As serious survivalists we are persistently on the look-out for diverse techniques to protect ourselves as well as our equipment. One major concern being expressed by various survival group members centers upon the issue of the dreaded EMP threat. Some proclaim it will create havoc upon our newer junction centered semiconductor products while other schools of thoughts dismiss the dilemma as mere speculation. Click here

Air Force bombs South Carolina
January 27, 2011 - "Air Force bombs South Carolina" By Joseph Parish. Picture yourself as Captain Earl Koehler, a young military pilot of a B-52 and you have been tasked to fly a special mission. This special mission involves transporting two nuclear bombs in support of “Operation Snow Flurry” to some unknown North African location. Your home station is Hunter Air Force Base just outside of Savannah, Georgia. You begin this mission as you would any other by carefully reviewing your aircraft pre-flight checklist. As you conclude your flight checks you deem all system are a go and cast a quick glance skyward. All seems well with the weather and you are blessed with a clear and bright sky so you anticipate no particular problems. Click here
Isn’t it time to come clean
January 27, 2011 - "Isn’t it time to come clean?" By Joseph Parish. America’s CIA started its life in 1947 as a civilian intelligence agency which reported directly to the director of our National Intelligence Agency. Notice I stressed the word “civilian” in my first sentence. Although it was conceived as a civilian agency it is surprising how many operatives are addressed as major or colonel. In addition to providing its expert advice on security matters to higher up officials, it is also heavily engaged in various covert activities as directed by the United States President. Click here

In days of old when knights were bold or learning from Medieval Weapons
January 25, 2011 - "In days of old when knights were bold or learning from Medieval Weapons" By Joseph Parish. I am a big time fan of history and in particular that history which deals with wars and battle strategy. I believe that even modern day warriors can often learn something from the various military leaders of long past ages. Imagine for a moment that you could jump into a time machine and travel back to the year 1232. Before you lies a huge Saxon castle in Northern Europe busy fending off an enemy attack. Click here

If your Pregnant please read this warning
January 24, 2011 - "If your Pregnant please read this warning" By Joseph Parish. Because the nation is quickly entering a new age of danger from foreign enemies or natural disasters does not mean that human impulses will come to a halt. Man and women will continue to fall in love regardless of what the economic or physical condition of the country may be. Naturally when a couple are in love the possibility of children will become a grave concern. Click here

Have a lock problem
January 24, 2011 - "Have a lock problem?" By Joseph Parish. I keep a pad lock on my kerosene tank just to ensure that unauthorized individuals do not remove fuel from it when I am not around. It is unfortunate that one has to resort to such measures these days but it is to be expected with hard time approaching. Click here

This hot spicy tasting drink was an instant hit and we later found that we were the only shop in the area that offered it. Click here
Storing up on sugar
January 23, 2011 - "Storing up on sugar" By Joseph Parish. As a survivalist it is in our best interests to investigate the wide variety of products which are available to sweeten up our foods. The active ingredient fructose is the basic sugar found in various fruits as well as honey. Maltose which is another sugar is often found in malted grains. Another less common sugar is pimentose which you will find in olives and lastly we encounter sucrose which is abundant in our usual table sugar. Click here
