Adding Beans to Your Menu Selection

June 13, 2010 - "Adding Beans to Your Menu Selection" By Joseph Parish. Often when discussing food storage I hear individuals complain that they do not care for beans. Although these people would like to benefit from the storage option available to them, they simply dislike the usual consistency associated with beans. Children usually dislike beans and for that specific reason. Well, all is not lost as there are alternatives that will not only allow you to store these products but also to actually allow your family to enjoy eating them. Click here

Daily Preparations for Emergencies

June 6, 2010 - "Daily Preparations for Emergencies" By Joseph Parish. The time to start preparing and to establish a sufficient supply of preparedness items is way before an event actually happens. Before these problem times arrive and you are required to bug out you need to carefully look at what items you and your family use and are needed on a daily basis. Next in order to get an accurate count on the quantity of items necessary you should then multiply this figure by the number of days you expect to be in a bug out condition. Click here

Should you invest in a Scanner?

May 31, 2010 - "Should you invest in a Scanner?" By Joseph Parish. I have several friends who seem to be addicted to eavesdropping upon the goings on of the various police and fire activities carried out over the small handheld scanners. Unlike the earlier versions of these scanners from years back they are all self-contained and no specific crystal selection is necessary. I personally have one of these small units and they are great to use. All you need to do is basically select a specific band and you are set to go. Click here

We're taking our country back one step at a time

This is how it goes in 2010 at the ballot box: old orders are upended, political lions become roadkill, chosen successors get left behind and the outsider, riding a wave of discontent, becomes the new front-runner.
