In view of the developments which are currently taking place in Cairo one has to wonder if urban survival is possible during such turbulent times. Rioting and looting seem to have no restraints as a crisis situation looms overhead. Not only are these dangers present during a possible infrastructure breakdown but they are clearly visible during earthquakes, floods and hurricanes. With our economy reaching an all time low there are greater chances of people becoming homeless and having no recourse but to live on the street.
