Can Egyptian unrest spread to America

February 4, 2011 - "Can Egyptian unrest spread to America?" By Joseph Parish. As American survivalists it would do us good to monitor and survey the Aljazeera television broadcasts as the drama unfolds in the current Egyptian unrest. Keep a careful eye tuned as the country falls apart during its turbulent days of a new revolution. So far in this grime chapter of mid-east history there have been over 100 people who have lost their lives while several thousand are seriously injured. I imagine the question being posed in many American circles is, “Can this happen here in America?” Click here

Starting a food storage program

February 1, 2011 - "Starting a food storage program" By Joseph Parish. A prepper I know recently confided in me as to their confusion of what to store up on for a potential emergency. Their major concern was the great changes that we are seeing in our weather across the country. They stated that if the conditions get too drastic the supply trucks will not be able to get to the local grocery stores and as a result the shelves will remain vacant. This is rightfully a valid concern and I was glad that at least the consideration had prompt a desire to stock up on food supplies. Click here

Surviving in a post Cell phone free era

January 30, 2011 - "Surviving in a post Cell phone free era" By Joseph Parish. With over 153 million cell phones in our nation it is awkward to imagine life without them. From the moment we awaken in the morning until the time we close our eyes in the evening our complete daily schedule revolves around the use of these cellular marvels. At least one time per day any individual will either receive a call or a text message or make an outgoing transmission. It is a challenging task these days to locate someone who does not have a cell phone. The problem I envision is can Americans survival without these modern inventions in a post calamity world?
