Water Lessons to Learn from Japan

March 25, 2011 - "Water Lessons to Learn from Japan" By Joseph Parish. There are many lessons that we can learn from the 9.0 earthquake disaster which recently took place in Japan. As I was reading the news stories today I noticed a clip in them which mentioned that a high position official for the Japanese government has urged the people not to hoard up on bottled water. After radioactive limits had been exceeded in the Tokyo tap water many of the cities residents began accumulating alternate bottled water. click here

Benefits of a Cold Frame

March 25, 2011 - "Benefits of a Cold Frame" By Joseph Parish. Last week we took my grandson to furnace town on a field trip. He is home schooled and we are currently studying colonial living in his social studies class. While we were strolling around the facilities we gave a closer look at the garden area since we should be moving to the homestead in the near future. Our Poor American Values

March 23, 2011 - "Our Poor American Values" By Joseph Parish. It appears that our American values have been significantly decreasing. If any other nation on the face of the earth had a dictator such as Obama, there is a grand likelihood that the man would be removed from office, forcibly if necessary. Only in America do we exercise such tremendous patients as citizens who are kicked in the teeth by their Commander and Chief but still manage to sit up for more. Only in the United States are our citizens committed to the proposition of giving every ounce of doubt in favor of a socialist president who care not the least for their problems. Americans should be commended for these generous virtues. Click here

Drying Ground Beef

March 20, 2011 - "Drying Ground Beef" By Joseph Parish. As I was wandering around on the internet I chanced upon a website (/www.canadianpreppersnetwork.com) where the writer was explaining how to dehydrate ground beef. My wife and I had previously toyed with the idea in the past but this time we decided to actually try it out. Click here
