Most of the current insect repellents on the market today use DEET as the active ingredient. You will find it in just about the entire over the counter product line that you can purchase. If you would believe it, there are now insect and mosquito repellents for your pets. If you have a dog or a cat and you are going to bring them along, then make sure you put some on them to protect them as well. What is good is that these products are also safe for humans, so you could probably use them if you run out! Am not recommending that one though :P
