August 6, 2010 - "Sunday’s Rustic Pain De Mie Bread" By Joseph Parish. I was sitting peacefully at home on Sunday and all of a sudden I realized that I had not made any homemade bread for a long time. Pondering what type of bread to make I thought rather then whole grain bread, I would do a white bread. Traditionally this bread is known as sandwich bread but technically it’s called pain de mie.
