Survivalists and Fear

May 14, 2009 - "Survivalists and Fear" By Joseph Parish. Nearly everyone at sometime or other has experienced the sensation of fear. Fear is normal for any living thing to experience and acts as a danger threshold for our body. Human bodies are frail and often times the owners of those bodies fail to comprehend the limits that Mother Nature has imposed upon us but fear tends to balance this out and warn us of impending perils. Survivalists 6th Sense

May 11, 2009 - "Survivalists 6th sense" By Joseph Parish. Our ancestors survived violent times by using their intuition and what many of them classified as “gut feelings”. Regrettably over the years we have been taught to reason in a rational and systematic manner and to suppress any initiate feelings that may surface. These same feelings that we restrain could possibly save our lives in an emergency. Click here

March 18, 2009 - "The value of a cell phone for survivalists" By Joseph Parish. Cell phones can be a functional tool when united with your survivalist efforts. In my family we all have our own cell phones. Several are not formally turned on meaning that there is no time on them or they are not connected to any sort of network, but these phones still perform as a 911 relay. Click here

Fiction for Survivalists

January 22, 2009- "Fiction for survivalists" By Joseph Parish. As some of my closest friends know I save all my survival information onto CD’s so that I can use them with a laptop as I am making my way to my survival retreat. Often times when I create a survival CD with my survival information placed on it I will frequently include books which are of a fictional nature and not at all associated with the topic of survival or even survivalists. Over a period of time several people have approached me and inquired as to why I create the CD with fiction on it and I thought that it was time that I explained my reasoning to my readers. Click here
